I was talking to this little asian woman outside the Department of Buildings this morning about expediting and when I couldn’t think of something else to say, I asked her if she liked the jacket she was wearing. It was put out by this company that I’ve seen around the city a lot called “Fjällräven.” I told her about how I knew some people who owned their backpacks and how awesome it but that their prices were just too high for me. She then informed me that the owner of that company is one of her tenants and that she gets everything in the store at least 50% off. She said that anytime I wanted to get something there, I should just give her a call and let her know when I’m dropping by so she could hook me up. You know what friends, life is good sometimes.
